Accreditation

Accreditation has always been an integral part of the MICs fabric, and since 1999, the MICs Group of Health Services has successfully undergone four joint accreditations, and is presently preparing for its next survey in March 2014.

Accreditation is one of the most effective ways for health services organizations to regularly and consistently examine and improve the quality of their services. Accreditation provides an opportunity for health organizations to evaluate their performance against national standards of excellence. These standards examine all aspects of health care, from patient safety and ethics, to staff training and partnering with the community.

Our health care team devotes considerable time and resources to the accreditation process, examining all aspects of MICs services, and seeking ways to improve what we are doing so that we can provide the best possible care and service to all who come through our doors.

Being accredited shows that we have been assessed by our peers, met or exceeded national standards of excellence, and that we continue to strive for high quality health care.

Applause and accolades to all those involved in Accreditation!
