The Lady Minto Hospital is located at the North end of Eight St. in Cochrane Ontario. Lady Minto's motto "caring together" reflects the hospital's close ties with the community and local health services.
As an acute general hospital, Lady Minto provides a wide range of services: in and out-patient, long term chronic, respite and special care services as well as obstetrics, peadiatrics, palliative, emergency and ambulatory care.
Lady Minto's medical/surgical wing houses 33 beds (20 acute, 8 chronic, 2 obstetric, 2 paediatric, and 1 special care) In-patient admissions to the acute wing average 65/month. In 1998 Lady Minto's chronic care wing was rebuilt and now houses the "Villa Minto", a fully independent, 33 bed, long term care facility.
