
Local Calls: Dial “8” + number
Long Distance Calls: Patients and Guests are encouraged to use standard billing options such as a calling card, 3rd party, or collect. If this is not possible, long distance calls may be put through the local receptionist by dialing “0”and providing the number. Please note, patients will be billed for long distance calls.
Televisions can be rented through the Hospital Reception Desk. Televisions are installed each day from 7:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. except weekends. The rental charge must be paid prior to installation. T.V. rental rates are as follows: Active – $28.00/week
Chronic Care/ALC – $69.00/month
Note: If hospital stay is less than 7 days, a refund based on number of actual hospital days @ $4.00/day is provided. There is an additional cost for headphones.
In an effort to attain a healthy environment for patients and Team Members, the Board of Directors does not permit smoking within the Hospital. Patients may smoke in the shelter provided across from the entrance to the hospital.
Some rooms are subject to a semi-private differential rate. If you have semi-private coverage, ensure that this information is given to the Receptionist. If a private room is available and a patient requests this, a differential charge is billed to the patient. Differential rates vary, so please feel free to discuss these rates with the Receptionist.
The Gift Shop is open daily from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m., and 7:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.. Please note hours of operation depends on volunteer availability. Vending machines are available in the waiting room area.

The MICs policy “Complaints – Team Members & Facilities (ADM–100)” is also posted throughout the facility for your information.
Employees of the hospital shall respect the confidentiality of matters that are dealt with, discussed, or observed in their course of employment (General Administration Policy HR–130).
Patients are also requested to respect confidentiality in regards to information they may hear while at the hospital.
