The Radiology Department has two examining rooms -- one for radiology and one for ultrasound. A portable x-ray machine is available for use with in-patients who are unable to be transported to the Department. Full coverage is provided by call-in after hours.
PACS digitizes diagnostic images and electronically transmits them to outside referral centres for rapid interpretation and reporting.
