The Respiratory Therapist is a shared position among the three MICs Hospitals. There is Monday to Friday half day coverage at Anson General Hospital for in-patients, out-patients, and emergency. The Department offers pulmonary function testing, arterial blood gas analysis, peak flow studies, night oximetry, and Holter Monitoring. There is also involvement in the community through wellness programs and information sessions to increase health awareness.
