Job Description
The Summer Maintenance Student supports the Maintenance Department with groundskeeping and general maintenance duties during the summer months.
The successful candidate must be able to work a Monday to Friday schedule (37.5 hours per week) and demonstrate reliability, initiative, and the ability to work independently.
Qualifications
- Grade 12 diploma or equivalent; must be returning to post-secondary studies in September
- Physically able to perform assigned duties
- Ability to work with minimal supervision
- Valid driver’s license and access to reliable transportation
- A clear criminal record check will be required by the successful candidate as a condition of employment
Compensation
- Rate of pay: $19.50 / hour
- Percentage in lieu of vacation
- Eligibility to enroll in the Healthcare of Ontario Pension Plan (HOOPP)
