Please be advised that starting Monday, September 6th, non-vaccinated individuals entering South Centennial Manor will require testing three times during the week on non-consecutive days. The screener will be available for testing between 10:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. every day including weekends.

LONG-TERM CARE VISITATION UPDATE – August 9, 2021

New hours

With the increase in community compliance with COVID vaccination, there is no longer the demand for Antigen testing as there was when all individuals required testing.  As such, we will no longer have a dedicated staff member for this purpose. As of Monday, August 9, 2021 visitors will be taught how to swab themselves with supervision between the hours of 10:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. Monday to Friday.

If you wish to have an inside visit with your family member, this is the time frame in which this service will be provided.  Otherwise, you are welcome to conduct an outside visit if these times are not suitable to your schedule.

10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Monday to Friday

Children between the ages of 2 and 12 who are visiting must be swabbed each time they enter the home.  The remaining visitors must be swabbed twice per week on non-consecutive days in order to visit on weekends when the service is not available.

LONG-TERM CARE VISITATION UPDATE – JULY 23, 2021

With the Ministry of Long-Term Care relaxing the requirements for entry to our facilities and allowing fully vaccinated (asymptomatic) individuals to enter with proof of vaccination without being antigen tested, the Antigen testing hours are being decreased to four hours per day Monday to Friday effective Monday, July 26th to be re-evaluated Friday, August 6th.

South Centennial Manor – 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon
Rosedale Centre -7:30 a.m. – 11:30 a.m.

Anyone without proof of vaccination will not be permitted entry on weekends as we will not be antigen testing. If you wish to visit on a weekend and you are not double vaccinated, please present twice during the week prior to your weekend visit to be tested for entry on the weekend.
