A Registered Dietitian is on-site weekly to provide nutrition counselling to in-patients and outpatients, thus promoting healthy lifestyles and wellness. There is also a close liaison with the food service supervisor to monitor menu development and food production.
With the emergence of COVID-19, we have had to make some changes to our out-patient services. Moving forward, out-patient services for clinical nutrition must be requisitioned by the referring physician’s office. The hospital will then contact the patient directly to schedule an appointment.
