Patients are allowed only two visitors at a time in their room. Children under 12 must be accompanied by an adult.

Although patients can receive visitors at any time during the day, the nurse may ask you to step out of the room temporarily in order to care for the patient. Visiting must not conflict with nursing care, patient’s rest or care related programs.

Anson General Hospital

Lady Minto Hospital

Special care unit
  • Visiting is permitted 24 hours per day, for 10 minutes each hour or at the Special Care Nurse’s discretion depending on the patient’s condition and need for rest.
  • Visitors must check with the special Care Nurse before each visit.
  • Only adult accompanied children of the immediate family may visit.
  • No TV, radios or flowers are allowed.
Respiratory Outbreak at Villa Minto, Lady Minto Hospital

Villa Minto is currently experiencing a respiratory outbreak. To help protect our patients, staff, and visitors, masking is required in Emergency Departments, patient care areas, or when receiving treatment (e.g., ultrasound or lab) in acute care facilities with enhanced measures in place. 😷
